The Department of Pathology of Pregnancy was founded on May 24, 2011.
The department is designed for 45 beds, located on the 6th floor of the six-storey obstetric building of the State Medical Institution of the Republic of Moldova "Mordovia Republican Central Clinical Hospital".
The department includes 13 double wards and 8 triple wards. Each bed is functionally individual. The wards are equipped with a sanitary unit, a shower cabin. The department has superior rooms with a refrigerator and a TV. The dining room is spacious, with a convenient arrangement of tables and a buffet, with the presence of a microwave oven. Two obstetrician-gynecologist doctors work in the department: Natalia Buyanova of the first qualification category and Anastasia Shulatkina of the second qualification category. They possess all methods of diagnosis and treatment of various obstetric pathology, provision of planned and emergency medical care to pregnant women, high technology of obstetric and gynecological operations, provision of benefits in childbirth.
Senior midwife of the department: Yursheva Larisa Alexandrovna has the highest category. Work experience – 26 years.
The department employs 10 post midwives and 2 procedural nurses.

Diagnostics and treatment of pregnant women are carried out in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Health of Russia dated 20.10.2020 No. 1130n "On approval of the Procedure for providing medical care in the profile "obstetrics and gynecology". clinical recommendations, standards. Innovative technologies for the prevention of premature birth (medical and mechanical) are being widely introduced.
