In the capital of Mordovia, representatives of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan headed by Chairman of the Board and the Minister of health of Russia Veronika Skvortsova.

They will become participants of the meeting of the Council on cooperation in the field of health of the CIS.

During the event the participants will discuss the results of work of expert groups of States — participants of CIS for updating the priority of agreements in the field of health protection, cooperation in the field of disaster medicine, psychiatry and addiction, the possible areas of cooperation and pooling of joint efforts in combating antimicrobial resistance and other public health issues.

In the first half of the day, Council members visited the factory "Biochemist", where opened the first in Russia full production cycle of the latest antibiotics.

Before the meeting Veronika Skvortsova visited the new clinic in the second district of the residential district "Jubilee" — at this facility now completed construction and installation work. Policlinic is designed for 500 visits per shift, its commissioning will allow to provide the adult population of a new residential area built for the world Cup, affordable health care.

The clinic will be equipped with the most modern diagnostic equipment with a total cost of about 170 million rubles. Veronika Skvortsova assured the head RM Vladimir Volkov that the Russian Ministry of health will support the Republic in this matter. It is expected that the facility will be operational by the new year.
