In Moscow in the framework of the Federal project "the Development of primary health care" held I all-Russian scientific-practical conference on the topic

One of the organizers of the event were the fgbi "SMRC PM" Ministry of health of Russia.

The conference was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of health of Russia, Director of "SMRC PM", representatives of the Federal national medical research centers and regional authorities, heads and specialists of medical organizations from the regions, representatives of the statutory health insurance funds, experts in the field of management.

A report on the role of Preventive services, Ministry of health of Russia in realization of the Federal project "the Development of the provision of health care" was made by chief specialist of therapy and General practice Ministry of health of Russia, Director of "SMRC PM", Ministry of health of Russia, member-correspondent of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor O. M. Drapkina. She spoke about a new order of carrying out of prophylactic medical examination and preventive examinations. She urged health care providers to provide medical examination of 1 day, to raise public awareness about the possibility of a free medical examination.

Also, Oksana drew attention to the role of clinical examination and screening tests in early diagnosis of cancer, compared recommendations for oncodiagnostics (by age and set of studies) in different countries – Europe, USA, Canada. Many types of cancer (colorectal, breast cancer, cervix, skin) can be diagnosed at the first stage of clinical examination.
