The Intensive Care unit has been deployed for 18 beds, organized and functioning since July 1990. The department is located in the therapeutic building on the first floor of a six-storey building with 300 beds. It works around the clock.

Provision of specialized, including high-tech medical care to patients with impaired vital functions of the body due to acute diseases, decompensation of chronic diseases, consequences of acute injuries, conditions after therapeutic and/ or surgical methods of treatment, in accordance with approved standards of medical care.

Carrying out a complex of resuscitation measures in patients who are in a state of clinical death.

Carrying out a set of measures to monitor the safety of patients with impaired vital functions of the body or with the risk of developing such disorders in order to prevent them.

Monitoring and timely elimination of violations of vital functions during X-ray endovascular methods of treatment.
- Development and introduction into clinical practice of modern methods of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of critical conditions, development and implementation of measures to improve and introduce new methods of diagnosis, intensive care and prevention of resuscitation pathology.

Development and implementation of measures aimed at improving the quality of medical and diagnostic work in the ICU.

Provision of advisory assistance to doctors of other departments of the hospital on the provision of resuscitation and intensive care for critical conditions.
