Rheumatology the division was founded on 5 September 1985 on the basis of MRCB.

Currently, the rheumatology Department is located on the third floor of a six storey therapeutic building and deployed to 55 beds.

The Department provides specialized medical care to patients of rheumatologic profile.

In the Department widely used new modern methods of diagnostics and treatment of rheumatic diseases: a multi-component therapy in rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, dermatomyositis, nodular poliartrit with the use of chemotherapy, genetically engineered biological drugs, efferent methods of therapy and orthopedic correction and others.

The Department shall be appointed and conducted on the basis of the diagnostic departments of GBUZ RM "MRCCS" the following types of research:

Hospitalization in the separation is carried out in a planned manner on a daily basis, according to the schedule admission.

The list of diseases to be hospitalized in the rheumatology Department:

Indications for hospitalization:

  1. High activity of one of the aforementioned rheumatic diseases.
  2. Exacerbation of disease, rheumatologic profile on the background of complex therapy.
  3. Planned courses of pulse therapy of rheumatic diseases using high doses of hormones and cytostatic drugs, as well as the use of genetically engineered drugs.
  4. Suspected active bacterially rheumatic heart disease or endocarditis in patients with rheumatic heart disease.
  5. Planned tests according to the approved scheme prior to surgical treatment of heart disease in persons with congestive heart failure requiring treatment in hospital.
  6. The selection of doses of drugs used for basic treatment of patients with rheumatic diseases.

The Department provides the following types of paid medical services:

  • intra-articular injection of drugs;
  • infiltration of joints and soft tissues corticosteroids.
